Nirav is a native to Long Island, who calls the village of Roslyn Heights his hometown. Born in Bombay (now Mumbai), India, he attended Baruch College, NY. He graduated in 1999, majoring in Business Administration and Economics. After spending fifteen years in various, successful retail ventures, he decided to change directions. Following a lifelong passion for caring for children, he opened his first The Goddard School in Stony Brook. Nirav's goal was to have a high-quality childcare system that he had difficulty finding for his two kids. As a parent, Nirav strongly believes that every child has the potential to benefit the most in life. “Be the best person that you can be! My goal for children is to acquire a love for education, and gain a greater self-image of themselves.”
I have been in the early childhood education field for over 35 years. I have a Bachelors Degree in Education in addition to my many years of experience. From teaching 2, 3 and 4-year-olds to running daycare centers, I have been fortunate to be able to fulfill my only career desire which was to work with children. I believe that providing a safe, nurturing environment while also offering the opportunity for children to learn and grow at their own individual pace is the greatest gift I can offer these children. When they come smiling into school and I hear their laughter and excitement throughout the day, I feel that I am accomplishing my goals.
